Основная деятельность Предприятия направлена на создание многофункциональной системы информационного обеспечения недропользования и формирования единого информационного геологического ресурса, используемого при решении вопросов управления государственным фондом недр и регулировании отношений в области геологического изучения недр, рационального и эффективного использования их ресурсов.

Сегодня Государственное предприятие «Белгосгеоцентр» осуществляет:
- прием, систематизацию и учет геологической информации в государственном геологическом фонде Республики Беларусь (далее – Госгеолфонд);
- подбор и предоставление информации из Госгеолфонда юридическим и физическим лицам;
- представление геологической информации о месторождениях и проявлениях полезных ископаемых и геотермальных ресурсах недр;
- подготовку информации и консультирование по вопросам геологической изученности территории РБ и использования ресурсов недр, включая торф и подземные воды;
- ведение государственного кадастра недр Республики Беларусь;
- подготовку информации о наличии (отсутствии) полезных ископаемых на площадях проектируемого строительства с выносом на топооснову контуров подсчета запасов полезного ископаемого в случае расположения объекта строительства в районе месторождения;
- представление информации о геолого-гидрогеологических условиях в районе размещения проектируемых скважин, в которой приводятся сведения об эксплуатируемых водоносных горизонтах, их водообильности, глубине залегания, мощности, защищенности от поверхностного загрязнения;
- подготовку заключений о возможности добычи объемов воды, заявленных водопользователями (административная процедура);
- разработку проектов обоснования границ горных отводов (для добычи подземных вод;
- разработку проектов зон санитарной охраны (ЗСО) для водозаборных скважин;
- восстановление паспортов скважин хозяйственно-питьевого водоснабжения по материалам Госгеолфонда;
- подготовку и организацию государственной экспертизы геологической информации о недрах для оценки и утверждения запасов полезных ископаемых;
- подготовку и проведение экспертизы проектной документации на геологическое изучение недр;
- выдачу заключений экспертизы проектной документации на геологическое изучение недр (административная процедура);
- ведение реестра работ по геологическому изучению недр;
- выдачу свидетельства о регистрации работ по геологическому изучению недр (административная процедура);
- предоставление услуг юридическим и физическим лицам по сканированию, печати цветной и черно-белой текстов, плакатов, карт, схем, чертежей (формат А4-А0).

The Republican Unitary Enterprise " Belarusian State Geological Center "(hereinafter - the State Enterprise "Belgosgeocenter") is a subordinate organization of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus.

The main activity of the Enterprise is aimed at creating a multifunctional system of information support for subsurface use and the formation of a single information geological resource used in solving issues of managing the state fund of subsurface resources and regulating relations in the field of geological exploration of subsurface resources, rational and efficient use of their resources.

Today, the State Enterprise "Belgosgeocenter" carries out:
- reception, systematization and accounting of geological information in the State Geological Fund of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter-Gosgeolfond);
- selection and provision of information from the State Geol Fund to legal entities and individuals;
- presentation of geological information about mineral deposits and manifestations and geothermal resources of the subsurface;
- preparation of information and consulting on the geological study of the territory of the Republic of Belarus and the use of subsurface resources, including peat and groundwater;
- maintaining the state cadastre of subsurface resources of the Republic of Belarus;
- preparation of information on the presence (absence) of minerals on the areas of the projected construction with the removal of the contours of the calculation of mineral reserves to the topo basis in the case of the location of the construction object in the field area;
- presentation of information on geological and hydrogeological conditions in the area of the planned wells, which provides information about the exploited aquifers, their water content, depth of occurrence, capacity, protection from surface pollution;
- preparation of conclusions on the possibility of extracting water volumes declared by water users (administrative procedure);
- development of projects for the justification of the boundaries of mountain branches (for the extraction of underground water;
- development of projects of sanitary protection zones (ZSO) for water intake wells;
- restoration of passports of wells of household and drinking water supply according to the materials of the State Geological Fund;
- preparation and organization of the state expertise of geological information about the subsurface for the assessment and approval of mineral reserves;
- preparation and examination of project documentation for the geological study of subsurface resources;
- issuance of expert opinions of project documentation for the geological study of subsurface resources (administrative procedure);
- maintaining a register of works on the geological study of subsurface resources;
- issuance of a certificate of registration of works on the geological study of subsurface resources (administrative procedure);
- providing services to legal entities and individuals for scanning, printing color and black-and-white texts, posters, maps, diagrams, drawings (A4-A0 format).
